Whether you're all about the filling or a fan of the crust, you know there are so many reasons to love pie. And these easy pie recipes offer proof of just how delicious this dessert can be. We included the tried-and-true classic recipes for the pie purists including pumpkin, apple and pecan pie, but also creative variations on those traditional dishes (think: mini versions, hand pies and slab pies).
If you prefer your pies to be a little more over the top, we have ideas for you, too — like Chocolate Espresso Pie, Banoffee Ice Cream Pie, and S'mores Pie. Don't even want to turn an oven on? We've got you covered! The no-bake desserts only require a stint in the fridge or freezer.
Many of these pie recipes feature a buttery, flaky crust, and while you can buy pie crust from the store, we promise it's easier (and tastier!) than you might think to make your own pie dough from scratch. If you're not into a classic crust, though, you'll find pies made with graham cracker crusts, chocolate cookie crusts and even gluten-free crusts as well.
While pies are one of our all-time favorite Thanksgiving desserts, they are also great to serve up any time of year. Summer picnics, Pi day (March 14th), Christmas, backyard BBQs, fall dinners with friends, you name it. There really is no bad time to dig into a warm, delicious slice of pie.
